I am a multidisciplinary storyteller who specializes in fantasy, sci-fi, and female-driven calls to adventure.
I grew up in a small town in the midwest, but I’ve been living in NYC for the bulk of my adult life, and I use that experience to write about tight-knit groups in big, magical places—characters who come together to transform their lives and their worlds.
Among other things, I’m an O’Neill National Playwrights Conference Semi-Finalist, an Austin Film Festival Second Rounder, a former Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild Artist in Residence, and a member of the Dramatists Guild of America. I went to Yale for undergrad and majored in theater studies and psychology, and afterward, I got my MFA from Northwestern’s Writing for the Screen + Stage program.
When I’m not writing, I’m probably reading. Or baking. Or playing Dungeons & Dragons with my friends. Or following my kids around, assisting them in their swashbuckling.
